DYF, formerly "Diabetic Youth Foundation," wanted to update it's image in order to better serve it's members and reach new audiences with their important messages and services.
The new DYF identity first updates the acronym to signify "Diabetes," "Youth" and "Families" - making it more reflective of the organization today. Additionally, the new gem-like DYF symbol may be read literally – as a blossom or leaves on a tree – or, more conceptually, as representing exuberance, community, illumination, comraderie and unity. It also resembles a gathering of elements that form the “world” referenced in the tagline, at the center of which is “DYF.” The simplicity of the logo allows viewers to interpret it individually, making the graphic memorable.
Unlike the older identity, the new visual image is more contemporary and relatable, and now has the stature and presence needed to engage members and instill confidence in potential donors and other audiences.

Restaurant wordmark + tagline
Originally established as and named "Lenox Room," the owners of this
upscale upper east side Manhattan restaurant wanted to change up their image to attract a younger crowd.
StudioMoon recommend shortening the name to just "Lenox," and developed a more hip, contemporary look for the popular bistro. By highlighting the "x" in the name via color and creating a table and wine glass icon as part of the visual, the new wordmark quickly revitalized the image.

Miramar Labs' premier product, a revolutionary therapy for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), needed a name, logo, print and digital materials, hardware/software graphics and packaging to introduce it to the medical and aesthetic industries.
To properly communicate to this underserved and deserving community of excessive sweating sufferers, StudioMoon developed the name "miraDry" as a link to the parent company, and a unique "droplet" wordmark to express the action of moving from wet to dry easily and successfully.
